The firm is led by Tavonga Nigel Madzadzavara, Founder and Creative Director, whose design approach combines simplicity, precision, and cultural depth. His vision is to redefine modern African architecture by creating honest, intuitive spaces that feel warm, elegant, and enduring. Tavonga oversees the conceptual and creative process of every project, ensuring each design reflects the studio’s signature minimalist identity and attention to detail.

Marvel & Mortar’s South African operations are headed by Miraji Hoza, who brings strong project execution, technical coordination, and client-focused leadership. Miraji’s role strengthens the firm’s cross-border delivery capacity, allowing us to provide seamless, consistent architectural services throughout Southern Africa.
