This project is a contemporary residential interior located in Manicaland, Zimbabwe, conceived as a calm, modern sanctuary that responds to the region’s climate, lifestyle, and evolving taste for refined living. Design Intent The core idea was to create a space that feels grounded, warm, and timeless, balancing modern minimalism with natural textures. Inspired by Manicaland’s lush landscapes and cooler climate, the palette leans into earthy tones, timber finishes, stone textures, and soft natural light—elements that quietly echo the surrounding environment. The open-plan living, dining, and kitchen arrangement encourages flow, family connection, and visual continuity, while maintaining clear spatial zoning through furniture placement, lighting, and material transitions.
